You can delete your Keepsake account and personal data at any time, directly in the app. You do not need to contact us, and you do not need a reason.
Deletion happens immediately. Your account cannot be recovered afterwards, and the phone number becomes free to use for a brand-new account.
You cannot delete while a shoot is in progress. If a photographer is on the way to you, or you are on the way to a customer, finish or cancel that booking first. Someone is counting on it.
A record of completed bookings survives: the date, the package, and the amount paid. Your name, address, and any notes are stripped from it first, so the record can no longer be traced back to you.
We keep this minimum because a business is legally required to retain financial records for tax reporting. It is also the other person's record. A photographer's earnings history cannot disappear because a customer closed their account, and vice versa.
Any cancellation fee already recorded on your account stays in that anonymised history. Deleting your account does not refund or reverse it.
Safety reports. If you reported someone for harassment or unsafe behaviour, the text of that report is kept and your name is removed from it. A report is a record about someone else's conduct, and it would not protect anyone if closing an account erased it.
Email support@beametechnologies.com from the address on your account, or write to us from the Get help screen in the app, and ask us to delete your account. We will confirm within 30 days. Deleting it yourself in the app is immediate, so we recommend that instead.
